Keep going
So yeah. shit's gone down, people have insulted me hideously. and i also find that about four minutes of looking thru my ex's myspace pages can fuel a good fifteen minutes worth (or two-three pages worth) creativity on my pet project. Why is it i work better, or more creatively, at least, when i'm angry? anyone know?

Anger is sometimes a good fuel for creativity. You're mad, you want to work it out, so you pour it into your pet project. Works for me, sort of. I find I'm more creative when I'm depressed. *shrugs*
Keep working!
I'll second my love on that. Emotion, in general, is fuel for creativity, 'cause that's what a lot of art is: communicating emotion.
Emotion has been the catalyst for most of the lyrics I've written. The more emotion that's gone into the lyric, the easier it is to write. Negative emotions are best, too, for inspiration. Over half of the lyrics I've written (22 of about 40) were written in freshman year of college, when I was an emotional wreck. Twelve of those songs come almost directly from that emotion.
Since then, I've gotten better at writing lyrics (so I'm better at putting the inspiration into words and music), but still, as far as quantity goes, you can't beat that sort of emotion.
Also, it depends on what you're working on (I'm not going to inquire as to what it is). Some styles (of writing, vis. art, or music) are better suited to anger than others, so that can factor into it. Lewis Black's style, for example, requires him to be annoyed at the very least.
So, good luck with whatever you're working on. I hope it's going well.
